Learning Observed

Rahi began blogging in Term 3.  His blog has various posts on a diverse range of topics and he also has a number of comments from his blog buddy and other classmates.  We spent time learning to write quality comments using a ‘comment sandwich’ and Rahi is developing his capability to do this on his blog buddy’s blog and thus can connect authentically with other learners.  Rahi’s posts are evidence of how he connects with the things in which he enjoys, whether at home or at school.  He has learned to embed images into his posts which enhance their readability.  Rahi has enjoyed reading our Learning Habitat 1 blog as well and has collaborated to construct some posts with his hapu group.  It has been fantastic to review Rahi’s posts since the beginning of term 3 to see how his capability at writing is improving. Some posts of interest were his ‘Adventure with Champ’,  ‘Minecraft’ and ‘Call of Duty’ (I believe this is rated Teen) posts because his passion and sense of adventure are evident. He regularly blogs about football and we all know how much he loves this sport! I would now encourage Rahi to co-construct blog posts over the holidays with his family and continue to visit his classmates blogs and leave comments.

My adventure with Kiwi (aka Champ)

So after school I had a wonderful day with Champ he got to meet my childhood teddy bears (but now it's my brothers) and my parents. Champ is a NZ Kiwi who likes to gomon adventures. We played football, Hide N Seek and watched funny YouTube clips. He is a very special mascot for our hapu group. I hope he liked my adventure around my house. I really liked him and hopefully he will get another cool and suprising adventure with other people from our hapu group. Find Champ in this picture

There is many things I love to do at home and outdoors and that is youtubing. Yes I am a very good youtuber just like Henry, Shaun and Justin L. Heny has 102 subscribers if not more. Justin L has 25 subscribers. Shaun has 19 subsccribers and as for me I have 24 subs (trying to catch up to Justin L). Subscribe me and my friends so we can have heaps of subs and when you have over 100 (like henry) you get money. Heaps of people like H20 Delirous, KSI and more youtubers are rich. Henry's youtube channel is Stupid_Henry_Funny, Shauns is FIFA FUNNY GUY, Justin Ls one is Gaming Hobo and mine is Dark Wizard.

Minecraft

Minecraft is very cool building, mining and crafting game. Every thing is made out of Blocks shaped as Squares and Rectangles. If you have and idea and if it just slips out of your head you can get minecraft and do it on there. Minecraft is not for free it cost money (Real Money). Mostly all of the youtubers play Minecraft, but they usually play iton PS4 or Xbox One. You have Survival mode and Creative mode. Survival is when you have to surviveon your own (Or with players if your playing together) and Creative mode is when you can fly and have unlimited access to any block/spawer egg/other blocks and mods I can't remeber of. Minecraft has nearly a 5 star rating so I recommend you have it (Unless you do than Oresome)!!!

What is a Crossbar Challenge?

A crossbar challenge is when you have any amount of people and you are standing in front of a goal post then you take turns hitting the  and the person with the most hits win. Mostly Soccer/Football players and Youtubers do this. It is a great game to practise your kicking skills and power of your kicks.

This is how you play the Crossbar Challenge:

You have 1 turn each

Whoever gets the crossbar as many times wins

COD Black Ops 3

COD (Call of Duty) Black Ops 3

Black Ops 3 is a First Person Shooter game. Call of Duty 3 came out in July 1, 2015. You can play the story mode and the zombies story mode. Story mode involves Diaz, Hendricks, Maretti, Hall, Taylor, Khalil and yourself. You will have to kill Hendricks (In the last part), Robots (If you want to control them then don't kill them but if you do then just go for it, the best weapon against the robots is the shotgun) Big Apc's and all of your team mates even yourself.

Football/Soccer is a really cool feet and hand game(only hands for the goalkeeper). Me and all of my friends lobe playing it we play it all day. I really want to become a famous soccer/football player. I want to be like Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo is famous because he kept trying his best so thats what I will do. Its not about wining its about fun. So I think you should play Soccer/Football to!

"WOW! I yelled. The best experience of my LIFE! My team was so pumped up. We had to practise first and then play because if we just played we would've got...RECKED. We were having so so so much fun that we were even more exited when we got to know that we were coming tomorrow. In my team we had Joyce, Nikkel, Sohil, Me and other peoples names I forgot. It was so fun that I had the fun of my life. Me and my team we were so good but not good enough we lost 2 games and won 1 somehow we won the sheild. I dont know how but we managed to get the sheild. I had a picture to show but it flew away. So thats the story of me and my team going to get the Sheild.

Cristiano Ronaldo (AKA CR7) is the 2nd best player in the world. He is my favorite player like Lionel Messi. Cristiano Ronaldo has won the Golden Boot 4 times while Messi has 3. A Golden Boot is very hard to win that's why these 2 people tried there best they kept on going and thats why I like them. Ronaldo and Messi are both fighting for the top richest players leader board. Ronaldo plays for Real Madrid and Messi plays for Barcelona.

Diwali is cultural festivals for indians and people who celebrate it (But mostly indians). We celebrate it by doing fireworks, playing with sparklers and lighting up diyas. Diyas are small cup-shaped oil lamp made of baked clay. Diwali is all about going to peoples houses and offering them some sweets and fruit. You will have to be prepared because people will be coming to your house and doing that to. Diwali is a festival of light. It has been celebrated by Hindus for genarations. We celebrate because it is a victory over evil. We pray to god. We were new clothes and reunited with other families to celebrate the new year for us Indians. It is particularly associated with Lakshmi, the godness of posperity, amd marks the beginning of the financial year in India. HAPPY DIWALI!!!

Clash of Lords is a game where you BUILD, BUY, CREATE AND DESTROY. It is very similar to Clash of Clans but I think much better. Clash of Lords has reached more than 1 million downloads. I am a big fan of clash of lords 2 and Agario they are both in my popular games list. Clash of lords gives free jewels to use to get heros. Epics are the best, Rare is 2nd best, Good is 3rd and Normal is last. There is another deck called specials were there are XP Eggs. Xp Eggs are used to level up your heros. Coral XP Egg is the best giving your hero 3000 xp, Gold XP Egg is 2nd and gives out 1500 xp, Purple XP Egg gives out 500 and it is 3rd best, Blue XP gives out 100 and is 4th best and finally Green XP Egg gives out 20 and is last. So there is all the facts and info that you need so download and play and use these tips and CLASH ON!

Agar.io

Agar.io is a Android, IOS and Computer playing game.  It is the best game I have ever played in my life. A lot of people play it in my school Ormiston especially me, Mr Dyer, Ved, Shaun and many more. Agario was created in 28th April 2015. There are about more than 2 million people that play it on computer, IOS and tablet (One of them is me). It is a massive multiplayer action game. It was created by Matheus Valadares. In Agario you have too eat cells (Which are other people that are circles) but beware bigger cells will be chasing you. If you are small you are fast but if you are big you are so slow that you have to split. Hope you enjoy my blog and remember if you want to then download.
